Terms of Service

Effective date: September 10, 2026.

These terms govern your use of abonsite.com. Please read them before using the site or sending anything through it.

These terms are not a service agreement

This is the most important thing on this page. Nothing here creates a client relationship, and nothing here obligates ABOnsite to provide any service. Managed IT engagements are governed exclusively by a separate written service agreement signed by both parties, which sets out scope, response commitments, pricing, and liability. Where these terms and a signed service agreement differ, the service agreement controls.

Reading this site, submitting the assessment form, or exchanging emails does not begin an engagement. An engagement begins when a service agreement is signed.

Who this site is for

ABOnsite provides IT services to businesses, nonprofits, and other organizations under contract. ABOnsite does not offer services to individual consumers or home users.

The site is intended for people evaluating IT services on behalf of an organization. It is not intended for individuals seeking help with personal devices.

Information on this site is general

The descriptions of managed IT, Microsoft 365, and cybersecurity work here are general explanations of services offered. They are not technical, security, legal, or compliance advice, and they are not recommendations for your specific environment. Do not make configuration or security decisions based on this site alone. Recommendations for your organization come after an assessment, in writing.

What you send through this site

Do not send passwords, API keys, account credentials, or other secrets through the contact form or by email. Neither is a secure channel for them, and ABOnsite does not want to receive them.

Please also understand that information you send before an agreement is in place is not confidential in the legal sense. It will be treated with discretion and handled as described in the Privacy Policy, but if your organization needs a confidentiality obligation before discussing your environment in detail, ask for a mutual NDA first and one can be put in place.

By submitting the form you confirm that you are authorized to contact IT providers on behalf of the organization you name, and that what you provide is accurate to the best of your knowledge.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use this site to attempt unauthorized access to it or to any connected system, to probe or scan it, to submit automated or fraudulent enquiries, to send malware, to scrape it at a rate that degrades it for others, or to use its content to impersonate ABOnsite. Reasonable measures may be taken to block traffic that does any of these things.

Content and ownership

The text, layout, and design of this site belong to ABOnsite. You may read it, print it, and share links to it. You may not republish substantial portions as your own or present ABOnsite content as the work of another provider. Product names such as Microsoft 365, Entra ID, and NinjaOne belong to their respective owners and are used here only to describe the platforms worked with; their use does not imply any partnership, endorsement, or certification beyond what is stated explicitly on this site.

Links to other sites

Pages here may link to third-party resources, such as vendor documentation. Those sites are outside ABOnsite’s control and are not endorsed by their being linked.

Availability

This site is provided as it is, without any warranty that it will be available without interruption or free of errors. It may be changed, suspended, or taken down at any time. Availability commitments for client environments live in the service agreement, not here.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, ABOnsite is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses, or for lost profits or lost data, arising from your use of this website or your reliance on its general information. This limitation applies to the website. It does not limit obligations owed to clients under a signed service agreement, and it does not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Any dispute about this website will be brought in the state or federal courts serving Alexandria, Virginia.

Changes

These terms may be updated. The effective date above will change when they do, and continued use of the site after that means you accept the revised version. Changes are not applied retroactively.
